The 255th Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had a grand day out together on Saturday. Travelling by coach to Bishop’s Lydeard near Taunton, the group took the West Somerset Railway cross-country to Minehead. At Minehead we hung out on the beach for a while before taking a walk along the promenade to the lifeboat station. Ice creams all round finished the day off nicely before taking the coach home. The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts seemed to enjoy spending the day together with a less structured programme than usual; with all three sections mixing together the day had a real family feel! AGM Monday 15th October 7:00-8:30pm

All parents and carers of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are invited to this important meeting, which will take place at Faithspace. Leaders and Administrators will report on the year’s activities and finances, and the committee will be appointed to administer the group next year. There will be refreshments and a chance for informal discussion after the formal business, and entertainment will be provided for children during the meeting.

We are hoping for a good turn-out to celebrate the group’s achievements and to help it become even more successful in the coming year. If you are unable to attend and would like to send apologies or comments please email secretary@255th.org.uk.
