Nineteen of our Beaver Scouts joined us on a breezy Saturday in June 2012 for a bus trip to Clevedon on the North Somerset coast. Traditional British seaside weather prevailed – mostly grey but thankfully dry – as the Beavers visited the pier, the beach and the park. Stones were skimmed on the waves and crabs were found in the rock pools as the tide began to go out. Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves, and qualified for the Adventure and Hikes Away activity badges into the bargain!
