The 255th Cubs enjoyed a traditional date on the District calendar on 9th March 2013 with the Mad March Night at Woodhouse Park. Under the cover of darkness, the Cubs tried many activities including parachute games, ten pin bowling, making rockets, toasting bread on a fire, an assault course, silent football and an audible treasure hunt.
The event closed with a brilliant campfire led by County Scouter Andy Scully. Now any of the 20 255th Cubs who attended the event should be able to tell you the story of Cecil the caterpillar!
The photos on this page show just a few of the activities the Cubs got to take part in.
